RoboCup aims to, by 2050, develop a team of fully autonomous humanoid robots that can win against the human world champion team in football. As the video shows the teams have a ways to go. But this seems like a great process.

The idea of humanoid football team by 2050 is somewhat scary. The rate at which AI’s are being developed is astonishing as well. I have been exploring this in relation to architecture (my personal interest) but had not been exposed to the “RoboCup.” It’s definitely something I will keep my eyes on. Thanks for the link.

The idea of humanoid football team is very exited. Ä°f i can i am going to be a wathcher RoboCup 09 but i am in Turkey and i am very a poor university student 🙂
